The “I Am Enough” Revolution

There is always something, the monkey mind, that loves to whisper little things to you. “You aren’t think enough,” it says. “You aren’t rich enough,” it whispers.

These negative thoughts don’t exist in truths, just old patterns that have gained too much power. Keep listening to that voice and eventually it will feel like the truth. Real transformation begins when you stop looking for that imaginary ‘better’ version of yourself. What you need to realize, is that you are enough.

That’s what the mantra should be. “I am enough. Who I am, is enough. What I do, is enough. What I have, is enough.”

When you live from this space, you stop competing with others and start listening to your own heart. You are only “not rich enough,” if you compare yourself to someone richer.

Being Perfectly Imperfect

The world tries to mold us into cookie-cutter versions of one another. We strive for a perfection that doesn’t exist, forgetting that real people aren’t perfect, and perfect people aren’t real. There is also something lost in trying to be like everyone else—you. There is an individual, unique ‘you’ that needs to find their own way to express themselves.

Healing Rather than Fixingl

The difference between trying to fix a broken machine and nurturing a growing soul exist in two completely different planes. The desire to try and ‘fix’ ourselves is driven by shame, whereas the want to nurture our soul comes from a place of love. Switch that internal dialogue, and your entire life shifts, taking new meaning.

Your wounds are not evidence of failure. They are often the very openings into the best and most beautiful parts of yourself.

There is a crack, in everything,

That is how the light gets in.”

  • Anthem, by Leonard Cohen

You were born to be real, not to be perfect. Today, decide to be your own friend. Stop aspiring to be anyone other than your own best self.
